Ghosting Effect

How do you do a ghosting effect is After Effects? Not a ghost LOL.

 

For example if have somebody moving in a frame, but at the same time, you are also seeing like a duplicate of that person in a soft dissolve kind.

 

For example at 1:50 in this video

    That's simply two different takes of the same shot overlayed with minimal opacity.

    Mylenium,

     

    Question though, I tried to do it with the same shot, but had to reposition one of the clips is there anyway I can feather or soften the edge of the frame, so that the border doesn't show so much, when I dissolve it.

    Apply a mask and then adjust the mask feather.
