I've tried everything to transfer PDF documents to my Ipad3, but nothing works. What am I missing??
Two methods:
(1) The official method is to connect your iPad to iTunes. Select the iPad on the left, then click on the Apps tab at the top.
Scroll down to the File Sharing section at the bottom. You'll see a list of your apps which can handle files. Find the Adobe Reader and select it. Click the Add button and navigate to add the file.
You'll find this file now installed in Adobe Reader.
(2) Alternative method: If you're using Dropbox, copy the PDF file to Dropbox. Open Dropbox on the iPad (the Dropbox app), open the PDF file you see in your Dropbox. It will open.
Click on the Share button at the upper right and select Open With, and select Adobe Reader.
Steve,
Yes, the first method worked. Funny--I tried several other things I read online and nothing seemed to work.
Now I have tons of beautiful PDFS to read----and I already have tons of Word Docs to read through Pages,so I'm all set....
Thanks for helping me out----I'm a noob to Ipad----I WON IT in a contest!
