Unable to open trial program

I have downloaded and installed CS6 for my Mac and when I clock on the icon on my desktop I can't open it. I get a window that has Deployment, Packages and Payloads and nothing I click on will open the trial program. What am I doing wrong?

    Could you check in the "Applications/Adobe" folder and see if the software is installed. I thik that the installer launches automatically; maybe it did not run.

     

    The icon on the desktop sounds like the downloaded file. Does it have something like "install.app" or "setup.app" perhaps? Double-click that file to launch the installer, and then follow the on-screen instructions. You'll be able to use the product after installing.
