When I transfer books they go to my desktop instead of my ereader. Kobo has told me it is software problem. This happened after I installed the new upgrade.

Could it be that your problem is related with Digital Editions and not with Reader? If so, you should post your question here:

I have been working on this problem for two weeks with Kobo and then this morning with Adobe. I am not quite sure how to ask the question on Adobe without being charged money. I will try again on the website you recommended. Thanks for your help

It's usually better to ask your questions about Adobe products in the appropriate Adobe forums - and you will not pay anything. I don't have any experience with ebooks, so I am not sure if yours is really a Reader problem, or it relates with another program such as Digital Editions.

At this point and time I am very frustrated. I do not know what Adobe forums I should be asking my questions. I have been connected to Digital Editions and that is when I was instructed to go to Adobe.com about the software problem.

I think I am not quite following you. Do you really mean that you posted your question in the Digital Editions forum (link in my message #3), and you were redirected from there to adobe.com?

As I said earlier, I am very frustrated. I am going to contact customer service via phone and have them walk me through the problem. Thank you for your interest in trying to help me.
