I have a website that uses an embeded flash movie. The flash movie reads an xml file and then plays a slide show of photographs. I'm not sure when it started happening, but using Windows 7 Ultimate, IE9 and Flash Player 11,3,300,270 the movie that plays is not the current content. In other words, the XML changed, but the movie did not.
I've deleted the Flash Player cache for this site and adjusted all of the other recommended settings (site storage, turned off hardware accelleration, etc.) but the problem still exists.
Any suggestions?
If possible, could you please provide the website link? I don't think that it's a Flash Player issue. Do you have any other machine where it works as intended?
Are you using ActionScript to dynamically load the content from the XML file? What's is your SWF development environment - Flash Pro or Flash Builder?
Thanks,
Sunil

Yes, I use ActionScript to load the content and the SWF was created using Flash Pro CS4.
Thanks,
Mike
I appear to have spoken too soon. Clearing the cache in IE9 & Firefox does not cause the new content to load. I duplicated the content directory under a different path (with a different URL) and the new content displays correctly. This is definitely a caching issue but I don't know where to go from here.
