L/R 3 Read Raw Nikon D-800 files

Does anyone know if a download exists for Lightroom 3 to read Nikon D-800 raw files?

Yes. You'll need to download Adobe's free DNG converter. Convert your D800 NEFs to DNGs and import those.

Unfortunately the awnser is no.

The last and final update to LR 3 was version 3.6 which was before the Nikon D-800 was introduced. Support was introduced in LR 4. The options are a. Upgrade to the new version or b. Use the latest DNG Converter (free from Adobe) to convert the nef files to dng and then you can import the dng files into LR 3.6.
