I created a simple test form with a file attachment button. It works in my PC browser, but hitting the button does nothing on my Android device. Is file attachment not supported on mobile devices and smartphones?
In our 2/21/2013 release, we added the ability for respondents to upload attachments as part of their web form submissions on iOS (iPad/iPhone) and Android devices.
iOS only supports image and video uploads (the OS doesn't allow any other file types to be uploaded).
Android supports any type of file including audio, video and images.
Give it a try and tell us what you think.

I've been trying the file upload option with an iPhone5 and a Samsung Galaxy - both are giving me problems as follows:
iPhone5 - single file upload is fine but multiple files seem to use the same filename and as a result I get a warning saying I the file is already selected for upload (this is the same whether I choose existing file or take a new picture).
Galaxy - any file I choose gets reported as zero bytes in size and cannot be uploaded.
Any workarounds I can use?
Thanks, Eddie
The iPhone5 issue is known and will be fixed in an upcoming release. If you need to upload multiple attachments, you can add multiple attachment fields, one for each attachement you expect the form filler to upload.
I cannot reproduce the Galaxy issue. I tested uing a Samsung Galaxy II phone.
Can you provide any more details? What model phone / tablet are you using? How were you adding the attachment? Was the file you tried to attach from the gallery? the camera? Do you know the size of the file you are attaching? When did you see zero bytes, before pressing the submit button or after?

Thanks Randy. I'll look forward to the iPhone fix.
I should have said Galaxy Tab - but I have the same problem on an HTC Desire. When I press 'Select File' from my form a window appears giving 3 source options (gallery, music track or voice recorder). When I choose gallery I then get a choice of Camera Shots or All Photos. I then see a list of images when I choose Camera Shots. The images look fine and are ones that I have just taken (on both the Galaxy Tab and HTC Desire). When I select an image and get returned to the form, I then get a red warning stating "File attachments cannot be zero bytes. Please remove this file". That's as far as I can get.
