I am creating a movie with video clips and photos and want to write in scenes with text on top of the video/photo as well as blank screen with words.. Is there a way to do this?

Also, how can I create create subtitles/closed captioning by myself without paying for a service? I am just doing this video for a small project and some of the sound isn't quite clear.

With respect...

From your your latest posts...there is a strong indication that you should take a look at some of the excellent Tutorials available (Free). eg AdobeTV

You need to get these very basic fundamentals down so you can progress as an editor with Premiere.
