Cant install adobe reader

Every time I try to install Adobe Reader on my computer, I get a scripts error detected and it will not install the program. I have Adobe Flash Player II ActiveX installed. I have tried using IE and Firefox and Google Chrome as internet browsers and have the same outcome.

I have run my antimalware, super antispyware, and spybot programs, not to mention my norton security program which has not detected any problems.

Why am I not able to install Adobe Reader?

I don't know the "why", but I suspect that's not what you really want. Try downloading its full installer from

http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

You get that script error when you download or when you install Adobe Reader?

If Claudio's link above does not fix the problem, can you give us any more details on that script error?
