We are new to digital publishing. We have been trying to view an article on an iPad in the content viewer and the horizontal preview is not correct.
The vertical preview is fine.
It is made up of three pages, the first page in the horizontal view is right but the next two pages are missing info/images.
We have tried adding the article multiple times and belive we have the folio set up correctly to accept the two orientations.
We have also gotten the following warning
Any help would be appreciated.
Firstly when you create a new folio in Folio Builder Panel, check the orientartion that you want. Default is set to Dual orientation, you may change it to horizontal or vertical.
If you are importing articles, take a look at this link for correct structuring of articles : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f6060 6c7754128c7a9c00e-7fff.html
Yes Bob we do.
We have been very careful of the file naming, following the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite tutorial online.
What is strange is that the vertical or "Portrait" orientation previews fine. When we turn the viewer (iPad) the horizontal (Landscape) does not view correctly.
There is actually missing information on the pages.
BOTH files preview correctly on the desktop content viewer through InDesign.
We want to be able to view the document in both the vertical and horizontal orientations so we have two InDesign layouts with _v and_h suffixes.
We do have the dual orientation checked when building the folio.
The vertical preview is correct and all our interaction works fine. It is in the horizontial view when we turn the Pad that content is actually missing from the pages.
