another detail, the ads come through at the start, but when the video comes up it stays black though it appears to be playing and I can hear audio, just no picture. What can we do?

What is your operating system, version & edition?
What is your web browser?
If you are on Windows, what is your display adapter, device driver version & date? See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

I tried updating the drivers as you suggest, they are the latest. I have
Windows 7, with the latest versions of Google Chrome, IE and Firefox
installed and the latest Adobe Flash player installed. Streaming video
works fine from YouTube and other sources, but not from the NBC website. I
get audio and the ad shows as color video but then the video goes black for
the event though we can hear audio so we know it's playing. Any other
ideas? Thanks, Mark

I too am having this issue, When I use Firefox the Flash app crashes, when I use IE9 I get black video but good audio. The advertisement does play perfectly in regular size and full screen. This is getting very frustrating. It is interesting to note my HP running Win 7 worked fine using Firefox (my wife steals my best laptop).
