The setting of all Code View Options should be "sticky". In
other words,
Dreamweaver remembers your most recent setting at the time
the program
is closed. Deselect Word Wrap, save all documents, and close
Dreamweaver. When you reopen the program, Word Wrap should be
off.
Make sure you understand the two different types of word wrap
in
Dreamweaver. The word wrap setting in Dreamweaver Preferences
inserts
hard return. The setting in Code View Options inserts a soft
return - in
other words, it works like a word processor by keeping
everything
visible in the viewport, but doesn't insert any returns into
the actual
code.
