I have a simple task to perfom - find a word in a large .pdf document and print the pages

that contain the word. Is there a way of doing this automatically? Clicking on hundreds

of individual search results has proven to be quite inefficient. If there is no direct way

of doing this is there a workaround?

May be possible with a action and javascript.

You need Acrobat X for this:
First use an action to highlight your search term on all pages:
http://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange/find-highlight-words-and-phra ses

Then use an action to extract pages with comments:
http://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange/extract-commented-pages
