I can't get Premiere to install on my computer

Aug 6, 2012 4:04 PM

The program seems to install, but then when I restart my computer, it freezes.  I forced the computer to shut down and then restarted it. After restarting the computer, I opened the program and the welcome screen appears.  When I try to begin a new project, the box opens to name the project, but then it freezes.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and restarted the program many times, but the same thing continues to happen. I also downloaded and installed the 9.0.1 update, but I still cannot get the program to operate.  I'm using vista and have 4 gigs of RAM.

Sounds like a hardware problem with your graphics driver or audio driver. Ask on the PSE forum and provide detailed system info. And of course before you do, simply update al lthe drivers.
