error 1014

I have updated my adobeX reader and the adobe flashplayer.  I still get error 1014 and can not open pdf documents.  How do I correct this issue?

    What is your operating system & version?

     

    The documents you cannot open, are they local or online PDFs?  If online, on what browser?

     

    Is there anything else beside the number 1014.
