CRXDE repository connection issue

Hi,

 

I have started to encounter an issue with connecting CRXDE to the repository. It all started with CRXDE becoming unresponsive. I had to stop it, and also close the repository. However, when I tried to reopen them, the repository launched fine (CRXde lite is working well) but CRXDE doesn't want to connect to the repository anymore. I've doubled checked the connection credentials, everything is fine. But when I click OK, nothing happens, it seems it cannot connect anymore to the repository. I tried to delete and recreate the repository, and the same with CRXDE but nothing helped. I am using CRXDE 1.0.1 and CQ5.4

    Sorin,

     

       Please, check the log files from the CRXDE folders. If you can't figure out what is the problem, please show us the log messages.

    Just for reference where can I find the CRXDE logs?

     

    I managed to resolve my problem by deleting .crxde folder ( as it was specified on http://dev.day.com/docs/en/crx/current/developing/development_tools/de veloping_with_crxde.html):

     

    "TROUBLESHOOTING CRXDE  

    CRXDE stopped working

     

    Remove the .crxde folder from your home folder.

    Note: on Windows the .crxde folder is under c:\documents and settings\<YOUR_USER_NAME>"

    Note: On windows 7 you can find .crxde folder under C:\Users\<YOUR_USER_NAME>

    Sorin,

     

       In windows 7, it is in "C:\Users\[your_user]\.crxde\.metadata" this ".log" file, I believe that this is the one that saves inicialization errors. However, not sure if this is the only log file for CRXDE.

       Glad your problem is solved.
