Zuma Blitz on Facebook

Jul 2, 2011 4:06 PM

In Zuma Blitz on Facebook, you should be able to right-click in the game to change ball colors. It works correctly in Google Chrome, and it used to work ok in Safari, but facebook just changed the page, and now it doesn't work. When you right-click in the game it just pops up the settings contextual menu.

This is running the latest versions of Safari & flash & chrome for mac 10.6.8

Hi, I would look in your Safari addons/plugins and make sure Shockwave Flash plugin is Enabled.

Are you getting any popups asking for Storage for the website?

When you reply back, include your Operating system and if you use Windows, what version of IE do you use and is Flash Player Installed?

    Thanks,

Hi, You may want to start in Safe mode and find out which addons/plugins/extensions are conflicting.

You have a lot of potential conflicts.

    Thanks,

I don't have an answer -- but I have more data.

Windows 7, 64-bit.  Flash current for all of IE8, Firefox, GoogleChrome.

    I play FaceBook Zuma Blitz.

It has always worked perfectly on Chrome until approx 3 Aug 2012.  At this point the above bug appeared (right-click to switch balls and the "Settings" window opens).  Disrupts game.

Yes, we know that the space bar will achieve the same result as right-click -- but is not a satisfactory solution.

The game still runs properly on Firefox -- but runs hurky-jerky on FF so I don't use it for ZB.

The game runs properly on IE8 (there's another issue, however -- I think a MS issue -- it constantly asks about secure/insecure content).

Why my preference is to run on Chrome.  I have deleted FlashPlayer and Macromedia directories, permitted FB/ZB 10Meg of storage, cleared caches, unchecked h/w acceleration box.  IOW I followed the FAQ instructions...  Any more ideas?  Why the problem is restricted to Chrome?  Who (Adobe/Google/Facebook/Popcap) updated something late last week?
