Clips Turn Green

Hey guys, hopefully a simple issue. Using a brand new copy of AECS6 and a new Macbook retina.

When I have a clip in the timeline, it plays correctly, and I can see everytying working. When I add a clip on top of it, the original clip turns all green and I no longer can see any of the video..just a green screen. This is on a completely new project so there are no effects or anyting yet.

The only varioable worth mentioing is that the clip is coming from Dyanimc Link and is a MXF file

Does the same thing happen when you don't use Dynamic Link and import the same vide files directly into After Effects?

Yes indeed it does. It seems AE can't handle .MXF files?

I also tried importing .h264 files and get awful tearing (whcih seems to be a known issue)

If there is any way to get AE to work with .MXF, let me know

This won't solve your issue, but as a workaround you could always try transcoding the files to another codec.
