1) Is there any way in Photoshop to know the exact location of an existing guide like you can easily do in Illustrator and Indesign by watching the info box?
2) Besides that, can i move a previous guide to an exact parameter like i do in Illustrator and Indesign? those are very helpful tips to the workflow.
Maybe there is a plugin to do it more efficiently. Nowdays, i have to always Create New Guide. If i like the New Guide 20 px from another guide and have to always remember the previous location or do the math...it too much time consuming. It would be great to have a box where i could put the value and move guides around like Illustrator.
Thanks for any help,
In the image of a guide being moved, the vertical cyan line is the starting position of the guide, the parallel black line is the guide as it is being dragged. The guide X coordinate is in the pointer HUD and in the Info panel. The distance moved, delta X, is also in the Info panel.
More info about guides was posted today: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4604909#4604909
That is very useful info! I will work in that way from now one.
I hope in the future Photoshop will have the option of a box that i could write a value. I feel that writing is kind of easy than making fine adjustments while dragging.
