I downloaded acrobat x standard and the serial number that I recieved will not activate the download.
Re-run the install with a serial number. if it's still not recognized, get in touch with support.

Tried that before this enquiry but keep getting message, serial number not valid for this product.
Did you purchase online, or was it a boxed product?
Serial numbers are usually language and OS specific. Coudl you check your order verify the OS and Language details.
Also, is this a fresh purchase, or is it an upgrade from an earlier version?
It was an online purchase. A fresh purchase as I have only ever had reader before. Running Windows 7 on near new laptop.
That's great. What about the order details? Did you check for Windows and the language?
Yes the order says windows english but I may have found the correct download by clicking on the alternate download method, as opposed to the akami download manager. Will try that download as it is still in progress.
