I intend to use a high speed scanner (60 PPM) to scan 200,000 pages and to convert them into PDFs of 15-25 pages in length. How do I increase PDF productivity?
What do you mean by 'PDF productivity'? Faster conversion? More accurate results? OCR?
High-speed scanners normally have their own ingestion software, designed to cope with the volume of data being transferred. Acrobat is not capable of handling anything like a 60ppm data feed. You could set it running to chew through the resulting files (PDF or TIFF) and apply OCR, but 200,000 pages would take at least two weeks.
