The v22 viewers should work on the Nexus if all goes according to plan.

Buy it. Fabulous piece of hardware. I love mine.

Hopefully the Content Viewer will work with the next drop.

The Adobe Content Viewer will work on the Nexus 7 in v22, I played with it yesterday. Note that given how new the Nexus 7 (and underlying OS) is there may be some bugs that we couldn't chase down before closing on the v22 release.

Is it working for anyone ?

I've updated my viewer to v22 and it still crashes on the Nexus 7

Would it change something if I build a new one from scratch ?

    Thanks

    Hmmm

I'm trying again now creating a new app from scratch with the Viewer Builder, and not updating the app to manage v22 folios. I guess that I missed the difference . I tought that Viewer Builder would update also the runtime. I'm waiting for the feedback of my testers... I don't have a Nexus 7.

    Thx for the feedback

now the app can launch, it shows the splash screen, the list of issues and then it crashes... it's a little bit better but I'll contact the support.

Did you get any further, Michael? I don't get my custom viewer app to run on Nexus as well, and I tried some different steps like:

    1. rebuilding the android app from the scratch (not updating/managing an old one)

    2. Activating strict resolutions of 1280x800 and 1024x600 for android devices (the new checkbox)

    3. deactivating features like transparent scroll-areas and Bookmarks

None of this helped. Neither the APK in Google Play not newly created v22 APKs seem to work on Nexus 7. They just crash.

Another thread we are talking about this issue is here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4669710#4669710

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard

Yes. The DPS team published a hot fix last week.

Download and install the new Viewer Builder on adobe.com

Then create a new custom viewer from scratch, and it will work. I didn't have to change my folios.

Does the new Adobe Content Viewer update from earlier this week work on the Nexus 7?

We did not release a new Adobe Content Viewer for the Nexus 7 to the Google Play marketplace. We did, however, release a hotfix for Viewer Builder that resolves the Nexus 7 issue. Professional and Enterprise customers can build a custom Adobe Content Viewer using the updated Viewer Builder.

I just started my content viewer on the nexus 7 and it seems to work (downloading an issue at the moment).

I was btw able to build a custom viewer app with a hint by Bob Bringhurst: delete viewer builder and reinstall it, before building a new android app from the scratch.
