Is there a way to automatically make it TAB over?

Is there a way to make it so that I don't have to keep hitting SHIFT + RETURN and then TAB  ??

See how I have to keep doing that??

set a left indent on the paragraph style accompanied by a negative first line indent.

Like this. And if you also use the "space after paragraphs" (.125 in this example) instead of an extra paragraph return between verses, you can gain even more control of your layout.

The other way to do it is by inserting and Indent to Here mark (Command-/) after the bullet character.
