Every slide changing to time lenght of 999 seconds!

Every time I click on a slide within my programme it for some reason extends the length dramatically to 999 seconds, when I have set them to 10 seconds previously.

 

Any ideas? I think it has gone a bit crazy on me?!

    Is there anyway to set a default time for all the slides somewhere without having to click within each slide??

    Hi There,

     

    yes, there is way to set the slide duration globally.

     

    Launch Captivate, do not open any project. Click on Edit>Preferences> Select Default in Left panel. You will see slide duration which you can set according to your requirement. It will set for all your project which you will create in Future. About the above issue Can you try this in blank project and check if it behaves the same way.

    Hi Priyank, that will set the default slide duration, but not change the duration of all the slides of an existing project.

     

    Maybe I misunderstood, but if you want to change all existing slides to the same duration:

    1. In the filmstrip select all the slides (CTRL-A)
    2. In the Properties panel you'll still see the Time property, click and change it, all slides will have that duration.

     

    Again, I have a screenshot ready but the functionality to insert an image is broken for me.
