I have tried every possible path I can think of to create a fillable form with simple calculated fields and field validation no none of these features are working on the mobile reader version 10.3 even though all the release notes on 10.3 says it should. I even went as far as upgrading my adobe acrobat pro to pro X and calling tech support to get help on the form creation side and they offered no assistance at all. They said they don't support the mobile reader at all and my only resource was the forums. They also said that if the form worked in the pc version of the reader that the form was created correctly.
I really need help to identity what needs to be done to these forms to make them work in the new version.
Otherwise I need someone to tell me that even though adobe says it works it was never actually tested in this another result of lack of communication between marketing and development.
As you've noticed, Adobe Reader for Android does not yet include calculations and validations. We have this working on iOS, and it was *almost* working on Android, but was not complete, so we had to pull it at the last moment. We will absolutely be at parity with the iOS version in our next major update planned for later this year. We have these updates roughly quarterly, so I prefer to keep the product improvements coming, even if that means that sometimes a feature appears on one OS before another.
Because this was pulled late, we accidentally didn't update the product description or what's new in the market and app, but we did so pretty quickly with the 10.3.1 update, which also fixed some other issues on Android with the new high resolution display devices.
I apologize for the miscommunication

Adobe Reader for Tablets and Smartphones
Thank you for getting back to me on this issue. I have been trying to get to the bottom of this for about two weeks and went through multiple levels of frustration with adobe’s tech support group. I was even convinced to buy a new version of adobe acrobat pro to address the problem. I forked over the $200 for the upgrade so I could get to tech support only to have them tell me that they could not provide support for my issue. Posts to other adobe blogs about this issue were deleted by the moderator. I got a refund for the software I purchased after tech support gave me the run around and could give me no help on how to get this question answered. I hope that this information makes it to your marketing department and helps them understand how misleading it is to have all of your documentation and forum content says a feature is there when it is not. Every site I turned to stated that this feature was available. As a matter of fact, looking at the reader mobile blogs shows this still to be the case and as the question I posted on your forum shows 63 hits I am not the only one looking for answers on this issue. I would strongly suggest this information makes it further then this forum, you’re bound to push people to other software solutions if they spend as much time, money, and resources as I did only to find out it was never going to work in the first place.
Again I thank you for having the decency of actually answering my question truthfully and saving me from looking endlessly for a solution to a problem I was never going to be able to solve.
Unfortunately for adobe, I will be using another solution for my forms. Two weeks of wasting my time and money to get run around in circles is not my definition of tech support.

It is very dissapointing if it was ready, pulled at the last moment, to have to wait until the next quarter.
This is a huge step forward for your product once it is successful. I would hope this could get fixed by the end of this month. Or at least have better updates on the progress.
