How do i prevent a slide that is after the quiz results page from showing?

Aug 6, 2012 10:53 AM

HI guys, I am trying to achieve the following in Captivate 6:

1) Users answer questions. They have 2 attempts to pass with 70% or above.

2) At the quiz results page, if the score is less than 70%, users get a button to retake the quiz. After the second attempt, If the percent is 70% or above, they can click a button to view a certificate or click a button to see a transcript. If the percent is less than 70%, they click a button to get a transcript but NOT a certificate.

How can i accomplish this since i cannot add buttons to the quiz results page.

It was true in previous versions that you cannot add buttons to a score slide, but in Captivate 6 you can: shapes double as buttons, and they have all the functionalties of normal buttons but they can be added to master slides, question slldes and the score slide. I'm trying to find time to blog more about that, but to me it is one of the most important new features of CP6.

Could you show the advanced actions you triggered by the On Enter for the score slide?

    Hi,

You use the wrong system variable, this one has the value that you define as Passing percentage.

Try to change to the variable cpInfoPercentage, please, that is the variable that will store the percentage acquired by the user.
