Blurb crashed and bugged up my UI

Blurb plugin crashed and changed my LR UI preferences and deleted color labels from thousands of photos. Any idea how to get them back. Seems to have affected my backup catalogues too so I think the problem is in LR--it's not seeing the color labels (that are actually there?)
