Hi there
Despite updating, then even deleting and re-uploading, a certain folio won't update on the view or the folio producer webpage.
Is this a known issue or is there possibly somethign I might be doing wrong? All seems very straightforward but no dice!
thanks!
Steve
Can you send me your productID to roche@adobe.com? Also, please let me know the publication status of your folio. I can look into our backend and see if there's a problem.
Thanks.
I'm not exactly sure what you're describing, so forgive me if I'm not solving your problem with this advice
...
The panel has a hierarchy of document menus that go "All Folios" -> "Articles" -> "Layouts". If you click through to the "Layouts" view and add a document there, it should either add a new orientation or replace an existing one, depending on what's already there.
If I'm completely misunderstanding your question, let me know and provide more insight to what you're seeing.
Thanks.
thanks for the reply. I'll break it down in a bit more detail.
I'm assembling folios from multple indesign docs (all using the same core template). I copied pages from the source document into the folio that's going to contain multiple source documents (thus several pages). I then was making edits inside the compiled file but it continually opens the other file. even though I closed it before, and I'm actually editing the original source file.
I was working on the source file without knowing it for some time, then realized. I went to the compiled fille and saw the original unedited source version there. so I had to RE-copy it over.
that's what's happening - though not at all clear as to why!
thanks again
Steve
OK. I figured it was easier to just try the repro than it was to describe it to someone else, so I tried it myself. That said, I didn't encounter the same problem.
Here's what I did:
After running through this, I did not see any unexpected placement of edits I made in step 6.
Can you verify my workflow and correct me if I'm not reflecting your guidance correctly?
