File keeps opening after copying page

Hi there

 

This is weird - I copied a page from .indd A into .indd B. Now whenever I try to edit the page in .indd B, it opens the indd A file and I find myself editing it instead. Then if I go back to the B doc, the changes are not reflected there.


this doesn't seem to make sense.

 

am I missing something or is something odd going on?

    I have a similar problem when taking print files from a PC and converting them to iPad pages on a Mac.
