I'm assuming you are using the histogram "handles" for adjustment, and the problem is that contrast is missing.
If my assumption is correct, a workaround for the interim is:
Use the sliders instead of the histogram handles.
OK. But make sure you submit the feature request here:
Also, consider stating the request more clearly, e.g. was my assumption correct? (or do you really want to have a true slider in the middle of the histogram...).
I can't be more clear about it. I stated that I want the Contrast Slider moved. "...moved closer to the Histogram. Say, right above/below/inside of it."
It is up to the software developers to figure out the exact location. It is a mere suggestion that I believe would benefit everyone. I often find myself working within the Histogram, and call it lazy but it pains me to get out of my rythm of adjusting via the Histogram and then look for the contrast slider well below it.
I will try posting to the link you provided, but when I tried posting to the "Feature Request" it was greyed out.
I'm hoping that what you are asking for is a contrast handle inside the histogram, along with the other zone handles which have an equivalent slider below, as opposed to moving the existing slider away from the other sliders and inside the histogram, but it's hard for me to tell by the wording - maybe the developers will not be so dense as me, but at least some of the other users who will be reading it and voting on it, will probably have the same confusion. In any case, if this is the correct interpretation, then I would support the request.
If my assumption is wrong, and what you are asking for is to actually move the contrast slider away from the other sliders, then I would be very-much opposed...
Now I understand what you mean. yes keep a slider down below but add another in/near the histogram. Gotcha!
