Hi, it seems a good way of editing DSLR footage on computers that are not powerfull enough is to use Avid DNxHD.
Was wondering if it was possible to encode to a low quality DNxHD format (i.e. 720p/25 60 8 bit) to save disk spece then replace the files with the DSLR version for final output? If so how, my ititial idea was to move the proxies out of the way and replace them wit the DSLR footage. How do I relink, do all the new files have to be in same directory?
