How do I resolve CR2 files problems in Photoshop CS 5.1 ?

When I try to open or download CR2 files in Photoshop Ce 5.1 or Adobe Bridge it causes the program to shut down.

    There's a whole lotta forums for ACR/ PS/ Bridge. Ask there and provide more exact info like where those CR2 files are coming from and on what system you work.

    Does this happen with all raw files, or just CR2 files?

     

    It may be just the fact these are large files and your computer balks.  What OS, RAM, free disk space.
