Hi

 

I would like to start a new project because I am bored. I have just finished a multilanguage virtual keyboard with the help of the forum people, and I would like to know how to stream live tv with flash and as3. Any help will be appreciated, and I never forget to award the points. Always the maximum points. Thank you for your help or directions, or suggestions, or hints.

    i'm actually working on building a video player right now that can stream live, VOD, or local files.  What do you need to know?  The FLVPlayback component is a great tool to get started with this type of system.

    Thank you for your answer. I already built a simple video player from scratch using components. Adobe did the job for the tool I need. I downloaded Adobe flash media live media encoder. It is free. I just have to understand how to make it work. I can see you have no points. have 10 on me.

    I am using the Flash Media Encoder solution as well for streaming a live event to a second location.  For my testing purposes, I used http://www.serverroom.us/flashmediaserverhosting.  They offer a free demo account and give you all the details for the Encoder settings.  Then all you have to do is point your FLVPlayback component to the stream location at the server.  Once the demo account is setup, you can be watching a live feed very quickly.
