Hello,
Using the Cloud and AE and others work that I installed. But Premier Pro shows that it downloaded successfully. But it will not launch. When I try I get this message:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
And then that's it. Nothing else. I am running Windows 7, 1 TB, 6RAM, i5.
I have uninstalled and re-installed until I'm near pulling my hair out.
It has something to do with the folder. Everything else installed on it's own, NOT in an Adobe folder. For example, Acrobat X Pro and Adobe Illustrator installed on their own, outside the Adobe folder and work fine.
The Premier Pro CS6 "family" installed into a folder and I wonder if that's the problem. It still shows up on the start menu, just down below the others in it's own folder....
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time,
Jeff
Thank you so much for your reply!
I have Norton but disabled it. I tried running as administrator but got the same error. Any other ideas?
I wish there was a way I could download it without downloading the entire "family" which causes it to go into that Adobe folder - that's where the programs that are failing to launch are located.
Any other ideas?
Thx,
Jeff
Well, straight to teh point: You made a mess by installing programs not in the Program Files\Adobe folder. It's probably some shared component that the program just can't find because it's outside the default path. That and possible permissions issues. Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall with proper default paths.

I think you are right. You know, I just downloaded the Applications Manager and clicked "Install" on the programs that I wanted. It did everything by default. Not sure how to fix. I will check the cleaner you recommended. Maybe I just need to uninstall everything and start over making sure everything uses the same path - not sure how I would go about doing that though...
Thx,
Jeff
Well if anybody has any more ideas let me know before I give up on the cloud. I have called in and they were of no help.
I have uninstalled, created new folders, set new pathways, the Application Manager does not pay attention to where I tell it to install, it just does it's own thing. It creates an Adobe folder in the Start menu for Premier Pro CS6 Family and none of it works. Everything else is installed outside that folder and those things all work.
I'm willing to uninstall everything and start again from scratch but I would have to know how to make this work. If anybody has any ideas let me know, the cloud is not working for me. This is a new computer.
Thx,
Jeff
Took your advise. Completely uninstalled everything using the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. Re-Installed, put everything Premiere Pro CS6 Family in a new Adobe folder in the Program files C:\Program Files\Adobe. It still doesn't launch.
Any other ideas? All other programs except for the Premiere Pro CS6 will launch. Photoshop, AE, no problem. This is driving me nuts. Do you think I should try to download a trial version and see if they will give me a serial number? I can't think of anything else...
