"Software Render System" over Video Preview, how to get rid of it?

I have just started using Premier Pro CS6 for a small project, so I lack experience. I apologize if this is an amateur question, but none of my searches turn up how to get rid of the text information over the video preview. Thanks!

    Search around in your Prefs or try a right click. You somehow turned on the GPU info screen.

    I wasn't able to find anything in the Premiere preferences, and I really have no idea how I did this - any other guidance? Perhaps somewhere in Mac system preferences? (I'm a heavy PC user, also very unfamiliar with Macs).

    Are you using Pr with all of its default settings?  If so, what version is your copy, and from whom did you purchase it?

    I haven't messed around with any preferences, and the install is a few days old. The version is 6.0.0, running on an iMac, core i7, 3.4 ghz, 4 gb of ram, AMD Radeon HD 6970m. The software was purchased  from a university IT store.
