I have uninstalled Flash Player 11 and it still does not work.

Have you checked the link posted by Mylenium and used the uninstaller to remove the flash player ?

I have followed the link posted by Mylenium. After uninstalling Flash, I went to the page that checks the status of Flash Player. I do not see the movie in Firefox but the movie still plays in Chrome. Is there a separate uninstallation process for Chrome?

No , Chrome has the in-built flash player.

What happened when you tried installing the CS5.5 again ?

can you post the latest install log to refer ..
