Message : Says cannot complete build ?
Jim,
Via Adobe Dynamic Link, it usually works, now I get an error message ERROR COMPILING MOVIE Unknow error, when I export to Media and try only a small area of timeline (Working Area ) ?
The Encore will burn existing media but not this DV 720x576 , it appears not to be able to transcode clips ?
Thanks
Related to Encore question http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1047392 where you say "Or Export to Movie in Premiere Pro 5.5.2" which indicates the problem is here, in PPro... not in Encore
Describe your project http://forums.adobe.com/message/4200840
Including screen shots of your project and export settings http://forums.adobe.com/thread/592070?tstart=30
You need to get PPro export to work before you try to work with Encore (if PPro export won't export, I seriously doubt that Dynamic Link will work)
Bob,
For Error Compiling Movie, take a look at the link in this article: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/955857?tstart=30
Might be helpful? Also, check that you do not have any uncovered gaps in your Video, as that can throw several "compiling" errors too.
Good luck,
Hunt
Bill,
I phoned Adobe Tech Sopport Asia Pacific, the tech found a corrupted clip at or near the start of the timeline from a tape Panasonic 3CCD, it was removed and replaced with the original clip and and cut at the start and end which removed the bad sectors.
This stopped the transcode which has now been fixed. I can now Export to Media and the Encore CS5.1 transcodes immediately and the project is finished.
Appreciate the innput, the use of the tape clips was an issue, I have learned a lot.
Yes Jim,
I tried that and found it would not even transcode the project from the start, and decided there was an issue on the timeline, but, I could not find it, but, a bright Adobe Technician from India (Asia/Pacific) located the issue and it is now solved. I had been working in high definiiton for 5 months with no issues untill I went back to some DV 4 x 3 tape clips from an old Panasonic 3CCD .
