Question about Lightroom and Tiffen's DFx filter

Have loaded Tiffen filter software in Elements 10 and Lightroom 4  Can find and use it in Elements but can't seem to locateit in Lightroom  What am I missing

    I don't know anything about Tiffen, but this is probably due to the fact that Lightroom doesn't use Filters.

    Well, there ya go

    There are built in filters in the 4 version......not bad but not complete

    I tried going through the user presets routine only to find that Lightroom

    recognizes the Tiffen file but won't let me bring it in

    Tiffen claims it is compatible with LR4 so I guess my next step is to

    contact them

    Do you mean filters as in Lens filters? Or do you mean rendering filters like Halftone and Find Edges?

     

    Then you mention presets. Lightroom presets are very different than Photoshop/Photoshop Elements presets. The presets are for specific modules and are only saved values for the various sliders. Presets that work in Photoshop Elements are not expect to work in Lightroom.

    Rendering

    Google Tiffen software and check out there stuff

    I'm working a fifteen day free trial for they're lease expensive package

    I like what it  offers in Elements 10 and that will work just fine for me

    but being the curious sole that I am I wanted to try it in LR4 to
