Upgrade to CS6 on a MacBook

I have a new MacBook, but my Photoshop (CS5.1) is on my old Windows laptop. I have purchased CS6 upgrade, but during installation to my MacBook, an error message came up that Installer couldn't find the previous version (obviously). What do I do?
