Exporting light radius

I'm trying to export lighting information from After Effects, but I'm not seeing a parameter for exporting the light's falloff distance.

 

 

 

The following candidates look good:

 


AEGP_LayerStream_LIGHT_FALLOFF_START,

AEGP_LayerStream_LIGHT_FALLOFF_DISTANCE,

 

But FALLOFF_START is giving me 0 and FALLOFF_DISTANCE is giving me the radius value.

 

 

 

My question is two-fold: What is FALLOFF_START? and how can I get the value of the falloff distance parameter?

    welcome to the forum!

     

    i never dealt with lights myself, so i can't say what you're doing wrong. it's possible that you're actually doing it right, and it's a bug you're seeing.

    you can try using javascript for that from inside your plug-in.

    in the following thread there's a complete explanation on how to do that.

    just to clarify, you don't have to run an external script.

    the script code can be completely internal in your plug-in and hidden from the user, who will never know a script was ran.
