Dark photos

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 (upgraded from photoshop Elements 3).  When I print my photos they come out dark.  What could be causing this??  This did not happen when I used photoshop Elements 3. I have a HP Officejet Pro L7680 All-in-one printer, which has been a great printer. I do not want to have to edit every photo I take.  I have a Nikon D3100 camera.

    Check on the HP web site to see if there are updated drivers  and/or firmware for your printer.

     

    Also, check to be sure that Elements manages color, or, that the printer manages color. You don't want both.
