version 10.3 calculated fields and field validation don't work

I have tried every possible path I can think of to create a fillable form with simple calculated fields and field validation no none of these features are working on the mobile reader version 10.3 even though all the release notes on 10.3 says it should.  I even went as far as upgrading my adobe acrobat pro to pro X and calling tech support to get help on the form creation side and they offered no assistance at all.  They said they don't support the mobile reader at all and my only resource was the forums.  They also said that if the form worked in the pc version of the reader that the form was created correctly.

I really need help to identity what needs to be done to these forms to make them work in the new version.

Otherwise I need someone to tell me that even though adobe says it works it was never actually tested in this another result of lack of communication between marketing and development.

    Hello nbonnett,

As you've noticed, Adobe Reader for Android does not yet include calculations and validations. We have this working on iOS, and it was *almost* working on Android, but was not complete, so we had to pull it at the last moment. We will absolutely be at parity with the iOS version in our next major update planned for later this year. We have these updates roughly quarterly, so I prefer to keep the product improvements coming, even if that means that sometimes a feature appears on one OS before another.

Because this was pulled late, we accidentally didn't update the product description or what's new in the market and app, but we did so pretty quickly with the 10.3.1 update, which also fixed some other issues on Android with the new high resolution display devices.

    I apologize for the miscommunication

It is very dissapointing if it was ready, pulled at the last moment, to have to wait until the next quarter.

This is a huge step forward for your product once it is successful. I would hope this could get fixed by the end of this month. Or at least have better updates on the progress.
