Unable to login to Story desktop app.

I have been unable to login to the Adobe Story desktop app for over a week (though I haven't used the app for a while).  I put the correct login and password for my Creative Cloud account and I see the connecting scrolling bar but then it returns me to the login screen.  I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app (build 1048) and have the latest (3.3) version of Air installed.  Also I have deleted the preferences files from the Library.  Unfortunately nothing has worked.

 

I am running OSX 10.8.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Can you please try following:

    1. 1.       Make sure Story is closed.
    2. 2.       Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/
    3. 3.       Now rename the folder com.adobe.adobestory… [Just put something at the end]
    4. 4.       Relaunch Story and try to login.

    Let me know how it goes for you.

    Same issue here, but solution did not work.

    Also whenever I launch Desktop version, it prompts me to update from 1.0.527 to latest version [1.0.1050], which then always fails to install.

     

    OSX 10.6.8

    i have the same problem. solutions did not work ( can't find a folder named AIR )
