If you previously exported your Site Definitions (.ste files), import them into new version

    Sorry, not a MAC guy.

When you have defined your sites in any version, DW offers the option to Export the site definitions

    as files named sitename.ste

These are saved in a safe place and when necessary, can be imported into a new or reinstalled version.

If you have not done this, you will have to define your sites all over.

Nah, defining the site for DW (if you have one built in another program) is just setting up the FTP info and telling DW where your files are...

    Site > Manage > New

Give it a name and URL (if you have one)

When it asks "Where on your computer do you want to store your files" put the folder that has your site info (index.html and folders)

Then you fill out your FTP info and what-not.

    You're welcome Matt -

DW needs you to tell it where all the Site files are located, where the image folder is as well as the FTP credentials (if your are not using a 3rd party FTP application).  Without all this info, DW can't manage your links as you work.
