Some good points. I'm still not swayed to move to any other app language, but Adobe has been irking me a lot lately.
Good install UI aside, we tried to find out how much it would cost us for a 1 time incident in an Adobe product and (not kidding) after waiting well over an hour on the phone and speaking to 3 "support" reps who didn't speak a lick of English (which, IMO, shows massive disrespect to the end user), we finally got our information.
Adobe has gotten too big for its breeches. I used to blindly love Firefox until it started coming out with a new version every other week and the quality assurance started dropping (moved to Chrome, love it). And though I don't love CF any less (it may not be moving forward as much as I'd like), I am beginning to like Adobe less and less.
Just because we're in a recession does not give a comapny permission to half-*** its support. Support is your LAST line of defense in making your customers happy. And if you can't even provide support that can speak the language of your consumer, you're doing both a disservice.
