Finally upgrading from xp64 to Win7 64. Advice on how to move Lightroom and plugins.

As my title suggests Im upgrading to Win7 ( specifically so i can upgrade to LR4). I need reasurance on how to make this move go without a hitch.

 

Ive watched the Adobe video which was very clear but I still have a couple of questions.

 

1. Do I need to deregister any software?

 

2. Can I simply download the software again and reinstall as the motherboard is the same?

 

Id just hate to go ahead with this and miss a step.
