Flash Player 11.3 installation problems

When I try to load Adobe Flash Player 11.3 it tells me it is already installed. I have repeatedly gone to the Flash Player troubleshooting page. No version shows in the box. I have uninstalled any and all Adobe Flash Player versions rebooted my computer and attempted to reinstall. I get the same message. Please help ! Right now I show Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX as installed when I look under my Programs & Features

Welcome to Adobe Forums,

Use Flash Player Uninstaller to remove Adobe Flash Player completely :

http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninsta ll_flash_player.exe

Once Flash Player uninstall successfully, then you can download Adobe Flash Player 11.3 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
