Importing exported images

Hi all.
I'm new with LR and for couple of times I've forgotten to backup the photos I've edited and now when I wanna import that exported image , it is deactive in the location of import . I would be glad for any help ??

    Did you delete the original images?

    Nope , it says "the image hase already been imported" . actually I found out what to do , you just simply have to change the name of that image and it can be imported all over again

    Just out of curiosity: If you still got the originals, why would you import the edited versions?

    well the problem is you can't even import the original ones ,because U did it once on this particular image :s

    But why do you need to import them again? Once you've imported them (and assuming you haven't done anything to them like move or delete them outside of Lr) they're in the catalog(ue) and can be reopened from within Lr whenever you want.
