Copyright Watermark?

I'm a new Lightroom user, running Windows Home Premium 64bit.

 

I created a 'Copyright Watermark' via ''Edit > Edit Watermarks. When I finished creating it I clicked the 'Save' button, but the watermark didn't appear on the photo that I had selected at the time. Why not?

 

I know It has been saved, as I did see it somewhere ( I think there was a 'Preset' connection) - either in a menu or panel, though I can't find it upon a second search!

 

Have I done something wrong & if so how do I correct it? Or, how do I find it again & apply it to photos?

    Do you have watermarking enabled in the Export dialogue?

    Hi,

     

    sorry for not responding to your reply earlier - been busy & not had time.

     

    Yes, as you have pointed to, It is checked. In the Library module > Publish Services, I have authorised my Flickr account and uploaded a handful of photos, but when viewing in Flickr the watermark is not showing. I've tried exporting to Hard Drive and the watermark is there.

    You also need to ensure the pre set to publish to your Flick account has the box ticked, in your "export" to filckr pre set.

    righty click on the Flickr tab in LR4 and go to edit settings, down the bottom there is the waterbox that needs ticking.

    Thanks for the replies.

     

    The boxes are ticked as pointed out & the watermark is not showing on photos uploaded to Flickr. If someone from Adobe reads this & wants to look into whether there is a problem, fine, but the watermarks are showing on photos I Export to my Hard Driive  I'm finding uploading photos from within Flickr from my Hard Drive is 7-8 times quicker than from within Lughtroom, so that's the way I'll go.
