I am trying to use the direct download for Mac. I tried the trial download with the Adobe downloads assistant, and that failed. It gets to 2.08GB and freezes. My opperating system is:
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)

Do you receive any type of error message? Otherwise if the download is not completed through either manner then you will want to try an alternate Internet connection.
Yes this is due to needing to set the cookie for the trial. The instructions on the page provide details on how to do this by first initiating a download of the Photoshop CS6 trial prior to clicking on the link.
okay, so how do I start over? Nothing is working. I followed the directions, but I must have missed something, because it is just freezing. No error, and I am certain it is not a connectivity issue.
